At 7 pm ,18 Sep,2016, Beijing time. Bosswell engineering team of 2017 Magical Winter Lights in Houston, about 70 people, start to leave for Houston from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. At 7 pm, 19 Sep, US time, all staff successfully arrived at the Greyhound Park of Houston, which will hold 2017 Magical Winter Lights in Houston. On September 20, the commencement meeting of 2017 Magical Winter Lights in Houston was held at the third floor of the Gulf Greyhound Park. At the meeting, Bosswell Management Groups emphasized the safety precautions of the overseas on-site construction, clarified the safety team members and responsibilities of each engineering team and arranged the work for the next stage. On the same day, the containers carrying domestically produced display lantern components, semi-finished products, related materials and tools began to be arrived at the scene.

The opening ceremony marked the on-site production and installation of the 2017 Magical Winter Lights in Houston officially starts.

Magical Winter Lights in Houston is created together by Sichuan PG Salient Cultural Trade Co., Ltd (Salient) and People Generation Global Communications (PG) and made by Zigong Bosswell Lights Arts Co., Ltd. (Bosswell) This Festival is the third time to be held in Houston. Compared with the first and second lantern festivals, 2017 Magical Winter Lights in Houston more emphasis on the lantern presentation and the interaction with tourists.
