The Fourth Magical Winter Lights Festival, jointly created by Sichuan Salient Culture and Magical Winter Lights LLC (formerly People Generation), opened on November 16th, 2018 at the Bay Greyhound Park, south of Houston. The period of the festival during 52-days until Jan 6th, 2019.

  In this year, the “Magical Winter Lights” Festival has changed the ways of the lantern arrangement, focusing on scene-themed displays, bringing a new and different customer experience from those in previous years. Staring to the dream garden from the iconic gate of the dream castle, walk through the colorful flowers, through the mysterious glacier valley as in the Antarctic, and the colorful ice and snow world (Iceland) is one of the bright eyes. Children can slide down the ice and snow castle, and sit on the huge chair as an ice princess to take photos.

This year's highlights include a display of NASA's newest space shuttle in colorful lanterns. An elaborate interstellar labyrinth set against the Milky Way Galaxy lets you brush past aliens as they fly by.

You can also get in the Christmas spirit under Houston's tallest Christmas tree, stroll down Europe Street and order a hot drink or beer at the keg stand.

This year also brought the Hui-style architectural park of China, using the real water scenery layout exhibition, restore the water village river, meditation walk in Jiangnan town Style, appreciate the ancient Chinese architecture, and put a lantern in the water under the starry sky, in the tree to make a wish of their own.

The place where on the right side of the food court, there is still the mysterious "Jurassic Age". The most attractive dinosaur park is still the favorite of children in the past. However, in this year's dinosaur park will be more innovative and interesting, every child can experience more mysterious interest different from that in the past.

This year's interactive area also includes the second stage area and the "gravity sensor light" area, which is a new recreation area is redesigned and customized this year. The lights can change colors with the music changes. Therefore, the area will bring more wonderful and colorful entertainment interaction to children.

The two acrobatic performances that open the park every day, and it will be satisfied with audiences, because the new high-altitude performances make visitors linger after a tense and exciting viewing.

This year our intangible heritage team also brought new performances and products for sale, such as: Inner painting, finger painting, embroidery, stone carving, etc., which present at magical winter lights festival in the first time. The unique performance of non-hereditary inheritors brought a new feeling to Houston tourists at the event site, accompanied by the live flute playing performance, which enabled local tourists to have a deeper understanding of the essence of Chinese traditional culture and art.

Magical Winter Lights has been in Houston for the fourth time since 2015.
