Dream Castle, Beautiful Mermaid, Space Maze, Chinese style Architecture and Jurassic Park come as promised. The annual Houston carnival, Magic Winter Lights Festival, opens in a grand ceremony.

Magical Winter Lights Festival, jointly created by Magic Winter Lights, LLC. and Sichuan Salient Culture Trade Group Co., Ltd., is the fifth festival this year from 2015. Each festival spans the most important festivals in the United States, from Thanksgiving Day and Christmas to New Year. These lantern sets in the festival are the integration of Chinese and Western styles. Its scale, attraction and appreciation have surpassed all the festival lantern exhibitions in the United States, and has become the largest overseas exhibition of Chinese lantern.

ABC TV's big reality show, The Great Challenge of Christmas Lights has been broadcasted in America since 2013 and entered its seventh season this year. Each episode includes a series of families or groups that decorate their houses with Christmas lights. The jury judged from the following three aspects: the use of lights, the overall design and the spirit of Christmas. After all the participants have been vetted, a winner will be selected and the win $50000 and the Holiday Themed trophy. Starting from 2018, the great Christmas lantern competition has added a Heavyweight competition, and four large-scale commercial lights shows have been selected to participate in the competition. Magical Winter Lights has been selected as one of the four contestants. Their lantern show will be shown in the competition broadcast on December 9 this year and the final winner will be also announced on December 9.

2019 Magical Winter Lights will open on this Friday of November 15, last until January 5, 2020 with a period of 52 days. This year, the exhibition arrangement of lantern sets is still dominated by the theme of scene. Visitors enter the dream garden from our landmark gate, dream castle to start a magical winter tour.

This year, there is still the most popular Jurassic dinosaur world for children, as well as the interactive area of gravity sensors lights which can trample out colors with the change of music and bring more fun to children.

In addition to more innovation and breakthroughs on lantern sets in 2019, two acrobatic shows every day during the festival will also bring a new look and experience. The acrobatic shows break through the shackles of traditional performance and are no longer a single performance form. Instead, diabolo long silk dance, tea art, silk hanging and face changing are integrated into the stage drama, and all the shows are completed in one performance in order to tourists can have a deeper understanding of Chinese traditional performing arts with the humorous and witty drama plot.
